Well it's time to say goodbye to 2013, although it was a pretty good year for me, I am looking forward to 2014.
I have grown so much over this past year, that I can't even explain it. With this learning and growth I have done, I will have even more learning and growth next year!
I promise to my readers, that I will be posting more regular blogs, as I have a lot that I want to share. I've just been saving it for the new year.
I am one with the Universe, and I feel the love!! I hope to help you feel the love too in 2014.

Will Power and Self Esteem
I was recently watching a Energy Healing DVD that was done by Caroline Myss. I found it very interesting... but one thing that dawned on me was: Your will power is directly influenced by your self esteem.
So in essence creating what you want in life requires will power (or mind power). But link any belief system, including the Law of Attraction, you need to have faith that it will come to be, or belief that it will happen. But people with low self esteem, don't have faith. Low self esteem is a lack of faith in oneself.
That means the bottom line is people with low self esteem, will very rarely be able to manifest what they want to receive in life because they don't even have faith in themselves.
I think this requires some serious action by all to help improve their self esteem. Everyone is capable and has the right to manifest all the good things in life..... and if self esteem is keeping people from doing this.... we need to help people improve their self esteem.
The first step in ANYTHING you want to happen is first:
Improve your self esteem.... if you can improve that you are half way to where you need to be.... and in probably a LOT of cases.... it is more than half way to where you need or want to be. Just imagine just feeling good about yourself.... how much better your life would be if that was the only change. Imagine you wake up everyday and you feel good and truly love yourself.
Ah.... how wonderful life can be!
My challenge is for everyone to work on improving your self esteem.... and see where life can take you, once that part of your life is improving.

Quantum Entrainment
I recently read the book Quantum Entrainment... I found it interesting.
I am definitely a believer in the fact that Energy is EVERYTHING. As I fairly new Reiki Master, I know how Energy can work in regards to healing.
But Quantum Entrainment is a little bit different... the thing that I didn't like about this is he (the author) goes on and on about how easy this is. I assure you for the average joe like you and me, it certainly is not super simple. This guy has been doing huge meditation, and lots of other healing methods for almost his entire life.... of course it may be easy - to him. This guys does not focus on Energy.... his focus is on Nothing. (if you read the book you will understand).
I would love to hear feedback from others who have read this book, and what they thought of it. And your opinions about Quantum Entrainment.

Summer of Law of Attraction
My goodness has the summer been flying by!!! But I have been enjoying it. I have been spending tonnes of time with my children at the playgrounds and spray parks, they are such precious beings and I just love them to death. I am soooo grateful I have the opportunity to be spending the time with them.
Now on to the subject of Law of Attraction.... funny thing it is. If you just pay attention, you can see how good things can happen if you just keep a proper state of mind. About a week ago, I was mentioning to my friend, that business wise, things have been very slow this summer, I have had no appointments booked with me (although I was enjoying spending time with my children - I do still need money to eat and pay the bills). Well this week, I am booked solid!!!! Out of no-where, people googled and came upon my services and booked appointments. I am a lucky girl, and sooo grateful. Life is good.
Now because I strongly believe in the Law of Attraction, I know a lot of people just can't seem to get it working for them.... FEAR NOT!!! The movies like the Secret, leave out a lot of important details about how to get it working for you. I have taken many programs, to learn all the aspects of getting the Law of Attraction to work, and if you pay attention, little things will start happening, and you will realize how blessed you really are.

Affirmations raise energy vibrational levels for Law of Attraction
Everything in the Universe is Energy, even our thoughts. Now those who have heard of the Law of Attraction, kind of understand the idea, of what you think you create. But it is not just thinking alone that creates the out-come. It is the vibration of that energy you are putting out that creates is. You can think I am making tonnes of money each month, but if you have a feeling in your gut that no way on this planet is that going to happen.... then it never will. What creates it is the feeling that YES it will!!! Or more accurately you want to feel YES it is Happening!!!
The trick is how to get the nice positive feelings that go along with that. All feelings (which are energy) have a vibrational level. Positive feelings or thoughts have a higher vibration, more negative feelings or thoughts have a lower vibration. So we need to get that higher vibration happening for those good things to happen to us... but how do we start that process? Well one small step towards raising your vibrational level is through positive affirmations, or even inspirational quotes.
So with the idea of helping all the readers to start raising their vibration, I am going to list some quotes for the next several posts. So keep on reading!

Chakra Colors
For anyone learning about Chakras, then you know that each Chakra is associated with a color. Now I have small children, and I happened to be watching "Cat in the Hat knows a lot about that" and they were learning about the colors in the rainbow, which they sung a little song:
"Red, Orange and Yellow, Green followed by Blue, Indigo and Violet, that's a rainbow song for you." Which was a catchy little tune...
But my point is... the Chakra colors also are the rainbow colors, and if you have troubles remembering the color of each Chakra, this is an fairly easy way to remember.
(easier if you have small children, and end up watching a lot of children shows!! LOL)

Law of Attraction
Have you every heard of the Law of Attraction? Have you read about it? There are lots about books about wonderful stories about how the Law of Attraction has made people happy, successful, rich, etc. But have you ever notice, they don't really tell you HOW to do it? Not just what you think will bring you the same.... but tools, practice steps.... Step by step instructions and EXACTLY what a person needs to do to get the Law of Attraction to work for them?? Or is it I'm just not listening well enough.
Does anyone else find the idea of the Law of Attraction fascinating, but just can't seem to get it to work for them yet??? I would love to hear your thoughts!

SMILE AND THE WORLD SMILES WITH YOU
I was recently at a course about Energy. The kind of energy you can't see and that all matter is made of. Anyways, during this class with did a little experiment where one side of the class tried to look make mad, glare, and be grumpy. The otherside of the class tried to be happy and joyful. Neither side was allowed to talk. The idea was that each side through thought or body language was trying to make the otherside feel the same way. The happy side won hands down.
Which makes a person think, if you just smile a little be, even if you don't feel like it, it seems to lift your own mood and everyone else as well.
So as the saying goes... Smile and the whole world smiles with you.

Gratitude
Do you want to change the direction of your life for the better? Did you know that the feelings you put out in the world will come back to you? If you put out feelings of gratitude out to the universe, soon possitive change will start to happen.... things you are greatful for, will start to happen.
Make a list today of 10 things in your life you are greatful for. They can be small things. Practice thinking about those things you are greatful, and FEEL greatful for them. The trick is all in the FEELING. If you do this regularly, you will soon notice, that things will start to happen in your life that are positive, and that you will be greatful for.

Do you know people that can't wear watches because the watches always quit working on them? This is evidence of how energy can affect things.
Many of heard of the Law of Attraction, this is another area that is greatly affected by energy. If you do not have balanced energy, there is no way the Law of Attraction will work for you. But there is hope!
You can help your energy to become balanced. There are several energy healing type therapies out there, Reiki, Chakra Balancing/Healing, are just two that are most popular. These therapies can also be done at a distance, as energy is free flowing and can travel anywhere, just depends on the frequency on how far --- you need to think of it as radio waves. Radio waves and how the radio works, is very similar to how the energy healing can work. You can't see it - but it is there, and it is effective!

Fish Oil - liquid or capsule
Fish oil is good for hair, skin and can also combat diseases. Fish oil has many health benefits and can cure illnesses.
For a healthy heart
To protect the heart, one should eat food containing fish oil. It has omega 3 that reduces the risk of heart diseases. It reduces the levels of LDL cholesterol, which is bad cholesterol, and increases the HDL levels or the good cholesterol. Thus fish oil can help to avoid heart strokes.
BUT should you take fish oil by liquid or by capsule. Well I'll give you my take. I am a big fish oil supporter, I know with myself, I just feel better when I take it, and I even have more energy. I have been taking it in a capsule, but I have to take many in a day to get the appropriate amounts that I want. So I thought I would get the liquid and add to my morning smoothie. So I shopped around to get a good quality, and one that had flavouring to it, to mask that nasty fishy taste.
Well, I think I will go back to taking the several capsules per day. Although I can drink it, I can still taste that oily fishy after taste, and it takes the enjoyment of taste from my morning smoothie.
If the oily fishy taste does not bother you, then by all means, taking it by liquid is a terrific way to get your proper amounts of fish oil (and omega 3) in a day - but if that taste bothers you at all.... join me and head back to the capsules. I would rather take several capsules per day, that have my morning drink having a flavour that is really not that enjoyable.

Financial Wellness
My husband and I were doing a little financial planning, since I am mostly a stay at home Mom, our family of 5 survives on basically 1 income. Which I need to make note... my husband brings home an average wage. He is not a highly paid manager or executive, so we go without a few things.
But the whole process got me thinking about financial wellness, and how so many people do not have financial wellness. The stats for how many people are in serious debt is staggering!! Not only is it stressful to be in debt, but it takes a toll on relationships. Many many divorces are because the stress of finances is to much, and breaks the family appart.
Do we all really need to "keep up with the Jones's"? Can we not all live a little more simply? Can with not live without all the expensive devices that everyone seems to have these days? My opinion is it is more important to raise a family with good morals and good quality time with each other, rather than everybody texting to everyone else... and the social situation is all online.
Lets just go without ALL the toys (yes everyone needs some toys) - we just don't need EVERYTHING. Let us all try to live within our means, we don't need to live in mansions, we don't need to drive SUV BMW's. If we all did some financial planning and lived within our expenses... I think we would all be healthier and happier.... certainly a lot less stressed out.

Sleep and Weightloss
Sleep is a funny thing. You just don't realize how it can affect you, unless you don't get enough for a long period of time. My youngest son is a terrible sleeper. So far in his young life he has suffered colic for a marathon period of 8 months, then after the colic passed, then night terrors started and lasted about a year on and off. Night terrors are now a thing of the passed but he still has very vivid dreams and is often yelling out in the night, in his sleep... which still wakes me up several times a night.
The point is... I'm tired!!! Now how this all relates to Weightloss..... I have read many books on weight loss, and if you pay attention, just about all of them talk about getting a good nights sleep and making sure you get at least 7 hours sleep per night. Now most people probably don't even pay attention to that... but when I was trying to lose weight, I certainly noticed it.
I weigh myself everyday, not because I'm obsesive about my weight, but if you've been heavy and lost weight... you know how easily it can creep back up on you, so I am diligent to make sure I don't slip up to much. Anyways, I can tell immediately on the scale if I've had a really rough night with my youngest. There is almost always a weight gain of a lb or two when I've had a bad night and very little sleep. As well as I had noticed when I was working on losing weight. When I was getting good nights sleep, the weight loss was a little easier.
Sleep has many other important qualities which I'll dive into further detail at a later date. But for now, it is important to know that when they are talking about weight loss and getting enough sleep... they are right on the money!!

Milk Good or Bad
I have done a little milk research in my spare time (LOL - of which I have very little). But when it is in the interest of Wellness... then I make time.
There are milk interolerance and milk allergies. Which cause very different reactions. To sum very briefly milk intolerances are very common, and cause problems with digestion, and make cause behaviour problems as well. Milk allergies, usually cause a person to throw up. Now when it comes to children it is actually a very low percentage that ever have milk allergies, and generally out grow it by the time they are 5 or 6 years old. And would be extremely rare to develop the allergy later (but not impossible). But with my son, he seems to be doing okay again, long as he drinks his milk when he is eating food, and not drinking it on a empty stomach.

I am mostly stay at home Mom, and my life basically revolves around looking after my 3 kids... Which along the way, I had somehow let myself go. I gained weight with each child and it just did not come off. I found I had no time for me, and my eating went down the toilet looking for energy to keep me going. My "Wellness" was gone. So I started little by little to get "ME" back. Little by little I eek out time for me to eat better, exercise some, and I am starting to find my own life again!! During this process I have discovered how important Wellness is to EVERYTHING - Self esteem, self worth, health, and just generally feeling well. When you have Wellness in your life you feel better, you look better, you like your job better, everything in your life feels better. So I am now on a mission to discover more Wellness and help others find Wellness too. Wellness means different things to different people. For some Wellness is just being able to take time to smell the flowers.
